Common questions

Is it important to have skills?

– No, absolutely not. Most of the pieces you see on my Instagram page are made by people who are completely new to resin/inks/acrylic pouring. At Art Party Project, we believe everyone has a creative side, and we’re on a mission to help you figure out where that untapped potential lies.

Refund/cancellation policy:

If you have booked our workshop, you can switch your booking to another date provided you give up to 72-hours notice prior to your session. If something comes up within 72-hours of the session and you need to cancel or reschedule, a $20 rebooking fee per seat applies. Due to limited seating, a ‘No call, No Show’ will not be rescheduled and no refund given. To reschedule, you can contact us by email info@artpartyproject.nz or via facebook messenger. For all the private functions: birthdays, hen’s nights, etc, we require a 50% deposit 2 weeks prior to the event and 100% payment 72 hours before the event. If you need to reschedule or cancel, you can, provided you give us at least 7 days’ notice prior to your event, otherwise, the deposit is non-refundable.

How does it work?

We can come to you; house, office, event’s venue, or you can come to one of our studios (please check my website and Instagram for locations and avails). I provide everything, the materials, step-by-step instructions, setting up, and cleaning afterward. We have a lot to offer and can customize it to your occasion. We do resin, alcohol inks, acrylic pours and painting, fashion, and food illustrations, we even paint on clothes. If unsure, please send us an email at info@artpartyproject.nz, and we will work with your preferences and budget. We also have Art Boxes: Infinity (Resin) and Liquid Acrylic Box, which have everything in them for you to give a try! You can either buy a box on its own or book an online session with me, where I will guide you through the whole process.

How much are private events?

This will vary depending on the size and complexity of the party. Fill in the contact form below to receive our brochure and a customized quote. We offer a wide variety of art parties, including fancy fashion illustration, alcohol inks, acrylic pouring, textile painting, and Resin Art.

Do you do corporate events?

Yes, yes, yes! Whether it is a small team or a big corporate event, we can work with you and customize it to your requirements and your budget! We also have very cool Art Boxes and we can put your company logos on them. Please send us an enquiry, or email info@artpartyproject.nz

Can I book a 1-on-1 with you?

Yes, you absolutely can! In that case, I will first send you a customized DIY kit, that contains everything you need for your pour. You can then book a time with me, and we can run the session online. Please check my Instagram page for ideas and examples of people having online sessions with me.

How do I exchange my item?

If a piece is not quite right you are welcome to exchange it for an alternative item or a credit. We do not offer refunds unless an item is faulty.

Will my resin piece look similar to the photo?

All resin pieces are made in my home studio using hand pouring and finishing techniques. The handmade nature of my product creates wonderfully unique colours and swirls, textures, and shapes, meaning no two products are the same. I aim to capture a range of outcomes in the photos you see on the website however, you can expect your piece to be one of a kind.

How do I care for my resin product?

My homewares are suitable for cold food presentation only. These products should be hand washed in warm water. The resin may appear “frosted” after washing and should be rubbed with a drop of cooking oil to restore sheen. All resin items are strong and durable but should be treated like a ceramic as they can break if dropped or knocked against a hard surface. Resin is not fire resistant and so should not be used in an oven, a microwave, dishwasher, or as an ashtray. Please refrain from placing your resin pieces in direct sunlight to avoid discolouration, or bending.

Are resin pieces durable?

Resin pieces are quite strong and durable and are made to last a lifetime however they should be treated with care as like a ceramic item they can break when dropped or knocked. There is always possible to pour another layer if you feel your piece needs fixing.
